Practicum learning has an important role in increasing student motivation in facing the world of work. This study aims to analyze the effect of practicum learning on increasing student motivation, as well as evaluating how practicum experience prepares students to enter the world of work. The research was conducted with a quantitative approach, using data from 102 respondents collected into a questionnaire, then analyzed numerical data with simple linear regression and correlation methods using statistical software tools, namely Minitab. The results showed that practicum learning has a significant effect on student motivation in preparing for the world of work. The correlation test resulted in a positive relationship between practicum learning variables and student motivation in facing the world of work, with a strong correlation coefficient ( Thitung = 7.820, P-Value = 0.000). Simple linear regression analysis that shows a good model with an R-sq value of 38%, this indicates that practicum learning explains most of the difference in increasing student motivation In addition, the results of the residual assumption test show that the data meet the criteria for normality and independence. This study recommends educational institutions to continue to improve the quality of practicum learning, both in terms of facilities and time allocation, which is useful for preparing students better in facing the challenges of the world of work. Future research is suggested to expand the sample coverage and integrate a qualitative approach to deepen the understanding of the practicum experience.
